Free Memory Screenings

Area Mental Health professionals have volunteered to conduct free memory screenings. A short questionnaire will be filled out and discussed with a professional. These screenings are not designed to diagnose Alzheimer's disease or other dementias. They identify possible memory problems that can be checked by a physician.

Displays

Members of the Alzheimer’s Advisory Committee will have displays. They will give information about the services they offer that are helpful to seniors and their families. Blood pressure and blood sugar checks will be offered. There will be demonstrations, musical entertainment, and refreshments. Brenda Reynolds and residents from The Terrace at Priceville will demonstrate "Body Recall" exercise
